Vacation Bible School

“We're glad to be here at Vacation Bible School, Vacation Bible School, Vacation Bible School! We're glad to be here at Vacation Bible School! This is the BEST PLACE WE COULD BE!!”

The song remains a hit as I get yet another request on the bus to sing it just one more time before we get home! To which I reply, “only if you all sing with me”! Of course I can never get the whole song right, so they get a good laugh. That song is usually followed with a request for “the missionary song!” or “the B I B L E!”. It amazes me how much the kids remember and how it has impacted their lives. Much work and prayer was put in by many folks for this year's VBS, and the results are still coming! Many kids are now attending Wonderful Wednesdays and the Youth Group! We must be in prayer that they will continue to grow in the Lord! Our week of VBS started out with a higher than average number of attendees on Sunday with about 120 and culminated with over 200 on Thursday evening. 1Thessalonians 5:24 says, ``Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.`` God is faithful, and as we planted and watered the seed of the gospel, He gave the increase! With 5 kids saved and many seeds planted and watered, VBS was a tremendous blessing to workers and attendees alike! Several weeks have gone by since and God is still giving the increase. We must continue to plant and water the seed of the gospel! Thanks to all who have helped and may God richly bless you!
